Slinfold Park Golf Course
Indigo were instructed by British Ensign Ltd to prepare and submit a planning application for the upgrading of the existing golf club house at Slinfold together with health and fitness facility and maintenance sheds.
Through a series of meetings, Indigo Planning, in conjunction with the design team, has sought to refine the proposed development from a previous planning application that was refused in 2005 prior to Indigo's involvement so that the proposed uses and design are more sympathetic to the site's countryside location.
The design of both the additions to the clubhouse were discussed at length with the Council with the aim of designing a scheme which is high quality, well designed, and appropriate to its countryside location. This provided an element of certainty prior to the application being submitted.
Planning permission was obtained in 2008.
