Indigo has been advising Sainsbury's on the conversion, refurbishment and extension of a former brewery building in the centre of Hertford to provide a mixed-use development, including a new retail store.
The development will regenerate this redundant and vacant brownfield site and will provide a mix of uses that will complement the town centre. The development will also secure the viable future of the Hertford Brewery building, a Grade II listed building, as well as enhancing the setting of the Hertford Conservation Area.
Indigo has been conducting discussions and negotiations with both the Local Planning Authority and English Heritage to develop acceptable proposals, in advance of submitting a planning application, application for Conservation Area Consent and an application for Listed Building consent to the Council.
