About Us

Rob Crolla

Rob is an Associate Director of Indigo and has been with the company since 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the management of projects from the company's Leeds office.

Rob is experienced in advising on development projects, including regeneration and mixed-use development schemes throughout the north of England.

He is knowledgeable in land use issues, having previously worked in the public sector and on the client-side for Asda. Rob has extensive experience and interest in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and retail aspects of the planning system.

Principal projects include:
  • Stocksbridge Steelworks, Sheffield - Advising on the proposed regeneration of the former steelworks for an extension to Stocksbridge town centre to include retail and commercial space.
  • Former UNSCO Steelworks, Kiveton Park Station, Rotherham - Advising on redevelopment proposals for residential development on behalf of a site owner.
  • Derwent Drive Retail Park, Workington - Advising on planning applications for the expansion of the existing retail park, via physical extension and the installation of mezzanine floors on behalf of Land Securities.
  • Store Extension Programme, East Midlands - Advising on the planning strategy for acquiring consent for extensions to the existing portfolio of supermarkets across the East Midlands region on behalf of Sainsbury's Supermarkets Limited.
  • Capitol Centre Retail Park, Walton le Dale, Preston - Advising on planning applications for the expansion of the existing retail park, via physical extension and the installation of mezzanine floors on behalf of Royal London Asset Management.
