Nick Fillingham

Nick is based at the Manchester office and joined Indigo as a Senior Planner in April 2007 and was promoted to Associate in March 2008.

Nick has a strong Development Control background through his time with Oldham Council, which he uses when working on various projects throughout the UK.

He has a wide range of experience managing projects from large scale strategic mixed-use developments requiring environment statements (ES), through to large housing development projects and bespoke replacement residential units in sensitive green belt locations.

Principal projects include:
  • Capitol Park, Goole - Project managing two major planning applications with associated environmental statements (ES) for mixed-use employment developments (260,000m²) including hotel, A3, A4, A5 uses and a 55 ha nature reserve and country park.
  • Rossfield Park extension sites, Ellesmere Port - Redevelopment of three former employment sites providing approximately 300 additional units as an extension to the previously acquired consent for the Rossfield Park site (500 houses) on behalf of Peel Holdings.
  • Moat Cottage, Nether Alderley - Successfully negotiating planning permission for a contemporary bespoke replacement dwelling within the green belt, plus the construction of a large detached swimming pool building utilising Permitted Development Rights.
