Millendreath
Indigo are instructed by Espalier to work with the Council and the Local Community to prepare a Development Brief for Millendreath, a long established settlement containing a holiday village, private beach, housing and associated retail and leisure development extending to 18.8ha (46.5 acres) on the south coast of Cornwall. Our involvement in this project dates back to early 2006 where we were instructed to provide a co-ordinated framework for the delivery of a comprehensive and sustainable tourism-led development.
The intention for this site is to develop a valley-wide regeneration initiative based on a mixed use, tourism-led scheme setting the highest standards for sustainable economic and social development.
- Devised and facilitated a regeneration workshop for the multi-disciplinary design and development team
- Prepare a regeneration vision for the scheme based on place shaping principles
- Prepared a regeneration case as a key element of the development brief for the site
