Mathew is a Director at the London office and has over 17 years' professional experience.
Mathew has particular expertise in advising on a wide range of development proposals, including large scale and complex residential and commercial projects, often involving promotion through the Development Plan process.
Principal Projects include:
- Acton, West London - A major mixed-use development for 600 residential units and 9,300 m2 office floor space (for Berkeley Homes). Mathew managed the planning strategy through to delivery, including leading negotiations with the local planning authority and overseeing all aspects of the process including environmental impact assessment (EIA).
- Larden Road, Acton - A major mixed-use development including 450 residential units, a GP surgery, offices and workshops on a former factory site including pre and post application negotiations with the LPA, consultations with local politicians and residents' groups, and project management of environmental impact assessment (EIA).
- Chelmsford, Essex - Advising on all aspects of the strategic planning process of a site for 600 residential units, employment, retail, leisure, community facilities and the delivery of a major ecological and recreational resource as an urban extension serving Chelmsford.
- Cricklewood, North London - Consultancy and project management on the mixed-use redevelopment of the Former Parcelforce Depot as one of the earliest phases in the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration proposals to deliver 10,000 houses. The proposals comprise 394 residential units within blocks ranging from five to 15 storeys. The proposed development provides a flexible mix of 1,327 m2 of commercial floor space at ground floor and podium levels.
- Paragon, West London - Obtained planning permission for a a large development including 900 student study rooms, 200 key worker residential units and a 12,000 m2 state of the art university teaching space. The buildings ranged in size from five to 18 storeys.
