Louise Donovan
Louise Donovan joined Indigo Planning in October 2005 after graduating with a BA Hons degree in Geography from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
"Since joining the company I have been involved in a wide range of projects from small planning applications to large mixed-use developments working alongside a team of directors, associates and senior planners. One of the most interesting projects I have been involved with is the new IKEA proposal for Southampton. In particular it has developed my interest and experience in retail planning. Combining work and a part time university course is hard work, but it is definitely something I would choose to do again. Working full time really provides a solid grounding and ‘real life' examples for all the planning theory and law that you study at University. After 20 months with Indigo Planning I was promoted from Assistant Planner to Planner and now project manage a variety of projects and regularly meet with clients."
