Hannah Baker

Hannah is an Associate of Indigo having joined in 2006.

Beginning her planning career in 1999 at Rochford District Council, Essex Hannah moved to the London Borough of Camden in 2001 where she worked as a Senior Planning Officer in Development Control until 2005.

Hannah acquired valuable experience deputising for the area team leader and being responsible for handling major mixed-use developments within central London.

She transferred these skills to the private sector and has represented major clients on a variety of development projects.

Principal projects include:
  • Westminster Bridge Road, Southwark - Securing consent for a new HQ office building adjacent to a Grade II listed cathedral including negotiations with the London Borough of Southwark to reduce the contributions being requested on behalf of the Catholic Aid Charity, CAFOD.
  • Amen Corner, Bracknell - Securing consent for an 80 unit residential development in Bracknell on behalf of Hewlett Packard.
  • Warneford Meadow, Oxford - Advising and supporting the project team, as well as drafting key expert witness statements for defending a Town Green application in Oxford on behalf of the NHS.
  • Pembury Hospital, Tunbridge Wells - Advising on and co-ordinating the preparation of a planning application for a new cutting-edge NHS hospital in Tunbridge Wells.
  • High Holborn, Camden - Advising on securing planning permission for a mixed-use office development within a conservation area including the conversion of three listed buildings within the London Borough of Camden.
