On behalf of Lemon Land Ltd, Indigo have been working alongside 3W Architects, on a large mixed used development in Basingstoke. The site is located less than one kilometre to the north west of Basingstoke town centre and approximately 400 metres from the railway station. The site extends to approximately 10.43 hectares of previously developed land.
This application seeks outline planning consent for; Mixed use development comprising 20,549 sqm gross D1 further education academic buildings, 499 residential units, flexible use of 23,272 sqm gross B1 offices and / or D1 higher education academic buildings, flexible use for 965 sqm gross A1/A2/A3/A4 and / or A5 uses, 130 sqm art gallery, conversion and change of use of the locally listed White Building to 150 bed hotel, with roof top extension to accommodate a new restaurant.
The application, including an Environmental Statement, has been submitted to the Basingstoke and Deane Borough in October this year and is currently being determined over a 13 week period.
