Clare Bland
Clare is an Associate Director based in London and has been with Indigo since 2002.
Clare has a broad project experience, including residential, industrial, commercial, retail, leisure and mixed-use schemes, from small scale independent developments to high-profile strategic proposals.
She has experience in the project management and production of planning applications and environmental statements, including the co-ordination of the ES consultant teams. Clare also has experience in appearing as an expert witness at public inquiries.
Principal projects include:
- East Riding of Yorkshire - Planning and co-ordination of the ES teams, including production of an ES and supporting statement for B1, B2 and B8 development of a 100ha site in the East Riding of Yorkshire on behalf of Sterling St James Ltd (JV Partnership).
- Expansion of Chemical Plant in Selby - Successful progression of proposals to extend the period for implementation of an expansion to a chemical plant in Selby. The project involved advising and co-ordinating the preparation of supporting documentation to address environmental issues.
- Retail Park, Llandudno - Securing planning permission and variations to a retail park in Llandudno to significantly increase approved trading floorspace, relax restrictive conditions and amend the appearance of the development prior to construction. The park has subsequently been constructed and advice is ongoing in relation to asset management.
