About Us

Asher Ross

Asher is an Associate at Indigo Planning and has been with the company since 2006.

Asher has a wide range of experience advising on major development projects throughout the UK, including regeneration and mixed-use development schemes often of a complex and sensitive nature.

Prior to joining Indigo Planning, Asher worked in local government as a development control and enforcement officer and then at Arup. Asher has worked on several major projects such as the Thames Water Reservoir in Oxfordshire, the new town of Northstowe in Cambridgeshire and helped set up the Planning Decisions Team at the Olympic Delivery Authority.

Principal projects include:
  • Sainsbury's, Hertford - Co-ordinating the preparation of an environmental statement for a new Sainsbury's store (circa 2323m² net retail floor space).
  • Sandford Farm, Wokingham - Planning advice relating to the submission of a planning application for 500 new homes and a 150 unit retirement care village.
  • Former Rowhedge Port, Colchester - Planning and public relations advice relating to the submission of a planning application for 300 new homes in an environmentally sensitive area.
  • Olympic Way, Wembley - Advising on acquisition of planning permission for a new mixed-use development of 300 new homes and a 220 unit hotel, including a proposed 24 storey building.
