Leisure: Amida Club

Indigo were initially commissioned to advise on development opportunities on part of a golf course and identified potential for a high-density commercial leisure project. Indigo market tested the concept and assisted in the selection of a suitable commercial development partner.
Indigo worked with the client and design team and prepared and submitted a planning application and negotiated approval from the London Borough of Richmond. The application was referred to the Government Office for London but, after lengthy consideration, it was not called in and permission was confirmed, subject to a legal agreement.
Indigo were retained by the original developers and subsequently by the new owners, Next Generation Clubs, to advise on various other planning matters.
The development won the Property Week/Leisure Property Forum award for the best stand-alone leisure project in 2004.
